Andrew Ray
SVP, Operations Excellence + Innovation
Andrew leads operational excellence and innovation at Ensemble and Ensemble’s Rev Cycle Partnership with Epic.
Prior to joining Ensemble, Andrew was an Expert Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and RCM leader in the provider Revenue Excellence practice. In this role, Andrew worked directly with providers and healthcare technology and services companies on finance and operations transformation and strategic growth. Prior to McKinsey, Andrew was a RCM leader at Stanford Children’s Health where he helped build the community physician network, launch the digital health program, start new clinical services related to a new hospital opening and was a RCM operational leader for the organization’s Epic implementation. Andrew was recognized as a “Top 50 Healthcare Leader Under 40” by Becker’s Healthcare in 2016.
Earlier in his career, Andrew led projects on RCM and financial transformation for healthcare providers at Ernst & Young and Triage Consulting Group.
Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a graduate certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, a range of outdoor activities, coaching youth sports, yoga and cooking.
