David Anderson
VP, Cybersecurity + Chief Information Security Officer
David Anderson is the Vice President of Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer at Ensemble Health Partners. In his role, David focuses on evolving Ensemble’s information security posture so that it can continue to innovate safely and securely in an increasingly hostile and complex cyber environment. His teams work collaboratively to protect against cyber-attacks, data loss and information security threats from all vectors while optimizing processes to keep focus on putting patients and providers first.
David has over 30 years in information security and came to Ensemble from AdventHealth where he served as the Director of Information Security Operations. While there, he led the creation and development of the teams responsible for incident response, application security, and information security R&D. His work directly resulted in AdventHealth’s attainment of HITRUST certification across the enterprise. Prior to AdventHealth, he served 27 years in the United States Navy working with NSA, USCYBERCOM and other three-letter agencies conducting information operations, computer network attack, defense, exploitation and electronic warfare among other missions. He volunteered for deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan with special operations teams, two submarine deployments and several surface ship deployments.
David received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and his MBA from Touro College. David also received his Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
