Health system restores claims processing 8 days after cyberattack.
Less than 120 days into our partnership with a nonprofit health system, Ensemble swiftly responded when they were impacted by the Change Healthcare cyberattack. Restoring claims processing for key payers within 8 days and manually posting over $40 million in cash during the recovery, within 90 days, monthly claim volumes reached $450 million, exceeding pre-attack levels. By stabilizing operations and safeguarding financial performance at no additional cost to the client, the system avoided the need for external loans during the recovery period.

Roper St. Francis excels in revenue cycle performance.
Roper St. Francis Healthcare, in partnership with Ensemble, strives to alleviate administrative burdens, enhance patient care and improve financial health, aligning with its mission of compassionate, faith-driven excellence. It earned two Clarivate Revenue Cycle Awards for revenue cycle performance. The healthcare system successfully reduced initial denials due to patient access errors to below 20%, significantly lower than the 28.5% hospital average, and decreased net accounts receivable (AR) days. Roper St. Francis Physician Partners, the employed physician group of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, achieved a 98.7% denial appeal success rate and 108% cash collections.
