Greg Kerr
Chief Privacy Officer
In his role as Chief Privacy Officer for Ensemble, Greg works closely with members of the senior leadership team to establish, implement and enforce a governance structure for the organization’s privacy program. Greg is responsible for the daily operations of the program including the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures, HIPAA Privacy training, the establishment of needed controls, conducting audits and conducting HIPAA privacy related investigations.
Greg comes to Ensemble from Ankura Consulting Group, where he had been serving as Managing Director. Earlier in his career, he served as both Director of HIPAA Compliance and Corporate Privacy Officer for a national, for-profit, publicly traded healthcare system which owned and operated hospitals and employed physicians in multiple states. While there, he implemented the HIPAA Privacy and HIPAA Security Compliance programs.
Greg completed his Bachelor of Science in health care services at the University of Phoenix and earned his Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) with the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
Greg speaks regularly on current HIPAA Privacy topics at both regional and national HCCA conferences and is a member of the active faculty for the HCCA Basic Privacy Academies.
