Ensemble Health Partners Named a Top Workplace by the Knoxville Sentinel

Ensemble Health Partners (“Ensemble”), a leading innovator in revenue cycle management, has been named a 2021 Knoxville Top Workplace by The Knoxville Sentinel. This is the first year that Ensemble has been awarded with this honor in the Knoxville region.

“Ensemble has always believed in putting people first, last and always. We truly believe that our people are the reason for our success,” said Judson Ivy, Founder and CEO of Ensemble. “We are continuing to grow in the eastern Tennessee community and are honored to know that many of our newest associates feel valued and believe in our mission of redefining the possible in healthcare.”

Ensemble has experienced exponential growth since its founding in 2014 and now has more than 6,800 associates in 47 states. The company partners with more than 380 hospitals and 8,000 healthcare providers across the country to improve financial performance and patient experiences, allowing providers to focus on improving clinical outcomes and reinvesting in patient care. Ensemble experienced significant growth in 2020, adding a record number of new end-to-end clients and achieving record revenue, as well as hiring more than 1,500 new associates nationwide.

Ensemble joined the eastern Tennessee community in 2020, when a strategic revenue cycle partnership with Ballad Health was announced. Ensemble currently employs more than 900 associates in the region, with more than 400 of those associates supporting Ballad Health. Ensemble is continuing to actively hire new associates in the eastern Tennessee region.

“Ensemble was built on the principle that ‘developing you makes us better.’ We believe in setting our associates up for success and offer access to training and development courses from across the country, said Shannon White, President of Ensemble. “We know that when we invest in our associates, they pay it forward by continuing to deliver exceptional results to healthcare providers across the country.”

Ensemble wants its associates to live well and be rewarded for their results, offering competitive compensation and benefits such as flex and compressed schedules, remote work opportunities, tuition reimbursement, paid-time-off and employer-paid disability programs along with a quarterly incentive plan.

“From finance and accounting to customer service and human resources, there are a variety of skills and backgrounds that our recruiters are seeking,” said Bill Gilooly, Ensemble’s Chief People Officer. “We value insight and innovation from the top to the bottom and foster an environment where associates of all backgrounds have a voice and can excel and shine.”

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draws on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and business.”

Ensemble has been recognized as a Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker’s Magazine and a 2019, 2020 and 2021 Top Workplace by the Cincinnati Enquirer. In February, Ensemble was awarded the ‘Best in KLAS’ designation for full revenue cycle outsourcing for the second year in a row. The organization has also been awarded the 2019, 2020 and 2021 HFMA MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle.
