Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Trinh is the Chief Clinical Officer for Ensemble Health Partners. He is clinically active as a board-certified Family Physician and is also board-certified in Physician Advisory. Several years ago, Dr. Trinh recognized most hospitals had many gaps in revenue cycle as it pertains to Utilization Management and Physician Advisory. He developed a comprehensive, cohesive process to address all areas where physician input could enhance compliance and revenue. He now provides leadership for Ensemble Physician Advisers. Ensemble Physician Advisers share a passion for ensuring hospital clients stay compliant with payer rules and regulations while simultaneously enhancing revenue by robust denials management and expertise in handling appeals. Dr. Trinh and his team work closely with clinicians to understand their needs so they can get back to their passion: taking care of patients. Prior to joining Ensemble, Dr. Trinh was System Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Revenue Cycle for Bon Secours Health System. Through his physician advisory initiative, Bon Secours experienced millions of dollars in reductions in denials write-off, while also improving inpatient audits results from various payers. Dr. Trinh has extensive physician leadership experience with roles including Chief Medical Officer, Vice President of Medical Affairs, and Chief Medical Information Officer at various hospitals and organizations. He also has experience with insurance payers as a former Medical Director with the Pennsylvania Medicaid program. He earned his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine from Pennsylvania State University and a residency in Family Medicine from Wellspan York Hospital.
