The Enquirer names Ensemble a Winner of the Cincinnati Top Workplaces 2020 Award

Ensemble Health Partners, a leading innovator in revenue cycle management, has been awarded the Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Enquirer. Ensemble has experienced exponential growth since its founding in 2014 and now has more than 5,000 associates across the country. Ensemble believes that its people are the most important part of the company’s success, and that when you take care of your people, they pay it forward by continuing to deliver exceptional results.
“Ensemble has always believed in putting people first, last and always,” said Ensemble CEO Judson Ivy. “Our mission is to redefine the possible in healthcare by empowering people to be the difference. We focus on empowering our associates’ voices and careers. We provide multiple channels and tools to support associates in sharing and implementing their ideas on how to make Ensemble a top place to work. We also offer a variety of programs for career advancement to help our associates develop into the leaders we need to support our growth. Providing the best environment for our people empowers them to deliver exceptional results to healthcare providers across the country.”
Ensemble partners with more than 30 clients and over 350 facilities across the United States to improve financial outcomes and patient experiences. Ensemble works with its partners to create a hands-on approach to help health systems forge a healthier path forward to improve financial performance, the billing process, and customer service, allowing providers to focus on improving outcomes and reinvesting into patient care and the patient experience.
“Giving purpose is tremendously important in our work. We remind our associates daily that the work they do reaches far beyond our offices and into hospitals across the country, making a positive impact on American health care,” said Ensemble President Shannon White. “We find that teaching our associates the ‘why’, investing in their personal growth, and showing them the impact that they’re making in the communities we serve is significantly valued in both our workforce quality as well as our client results.”

As Ensemble continues to grow, the company is focused on fostering an environment where its associates are inspired and energized, and a space where they have opportunities to adapt and grow both professionally and personally. Ensemble moved into its new 400,000 square foot Blue Ash facility in February. The innovative new space includes a state-of-the-art training center, on-site childcare, a cafeteria, a fitness center and game room.

“Ensemble was built on the principle that ‘developing you makes us better’. We invest in our associates and offer ongoing growth opportunities to steer and shape their careers,” said Ensemble Chief People Officer Allan Calonge. “Ensemble encourages – and expects– ideas and innovations from our associates.”
Ensemble offers access to training and professional development courses across the country. Ensemble wants its associates to live well and be rewarded for their results, offering competitive compensation and benefits such as flex and compressed schedules, work-from-home opportunities, tuition reimbursement, paid-time-off and employer-paid disability programs along with a quarterly incentive plan. Ensemble believes that holistic well-being has the transformative power to strengthen and balance the body, mind and spirit and offers multiple programs to promote health and wellness. Additionally, Ensemble embraces a work-hard, play-hard mentality and offers celebrations including free birthday cake each month, summer celebrations, and the annual holiday party. Ensemble’s associate-run SWAG (Serving with an Attitude of Gratitude) Committee organizes additional events and giveaways and identifies opportunities to give back to the community throughout the year.
The Top Workplaces 2020 Award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”
Ensemble has been recognized as a Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker’s Magazine and a 2019 Top Workplace by the Cincinnati Enquirer. In January, Ensemble was awarded the ‘Best in KLAS’ designation for full revenue cycle outsourcing. The organization was also awarded the 2019 HFMA MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle, placing Ensemble’s level of performance among just 20 hospitals out of 6,210 in the country.
Ensemble is seeking to fill new positions in Blue Ash, Huntersville, N.C., and throughout the country. To learn more about Ensemble or to search for open positions and apply online, visit www.ensemblehp.com/careers.
