About Allan Calonge:
In his role as Chief People Officer, Allan provides leadership to all areas of Ensemble’s people functions, including talent acquisition, learning and development, strategy, culture, diversity and inclusion and total rewards. He is tasked with ensuring Ensemble’s HR strategies maximize the potential of our associates through talent growth and development, inclusivity, cultural alignment and holistic well-being.
Allan comes to Ensemble from Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) where he had been serving as Chief HR Strategy and Well-Being Officer. In this role, he led the many critical elements of BSMH’s HR programs for its 57,000 associates. In his seven years with the organization, Allan and his team were instrumental in designing next generation rewards and well-being programs for the company, which provided market pay, affordable healthcare, retirement readiness and a dignified livelihood for every associate.
Allan is a graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University and received his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
